Arcade Fire – Funeral 

For Arcade Fire's "Funeral" album, released in 2004, I was inspired by Victorian ephemera and the illustration on birth, death and marriage certificates. The central image of the hand holding an ornate quill speaks to the album's overall themes of loss, reflection, and the passage of time. The cover art complements the album's poignant and introspective content, creating a visual representation of the emotions conveyed in Arcade Fire's music.
